Just as there are difficult decisions to make when selling a house, the purchasing decision can be more difficult and perhaps have even longer lasting effects. A bad purchase can lead to significant lifestyle disruption and possible financial consequences on resale.
The role of TransferEASE is to ensure the employee is given proper guidance, information and direction in making an informed decision while purchasing a new home.
How Do We Do It?
Our initial steps involve our professional Relocation Counselors completing a Needs Analysis based on the individual family circumstances.
We take the time to learn about a family's current situation as well as its future needs. We are then able to identify the potential neighborhood(s) and introduce the employee to a professional real estate expert that will work with the employee throughout the home purchasing process.
Once critical decisions have been made and a specific house identified, our expertise and advice is able to:
- Assist with the structuring of an offer to purchase
- Prepare for the negotiation process.
- Pre-planned house hunting trips
- Less time and frustration spent looking for a new house
- A better real estate investment
- Fewer surprises in the new location
Either during the relocation process or once the family has moved out, our Counselors are available to provide information on many specific new location needs, recreational interests, special education requirements, etc.
In summary, our objectives are:
- To maximize use of the available search time for the employee and family members
- Minimize the expense associated with the home search process
- Allow employee to devote more time to productivity in the workplace
What Does It Cost?
There is NO ADDITIONAL COST to either the corporation or the employee
