TransferEASE Relocation has the ability to manage in-bound relocation assignments. We offer a variety of destination and settling-in services to provide host country support to the employee.
Pre Move Consultation
Prior to the transferee making the decision to accept an international transfer, we are able to provide your client with a "Welcome to" Kit.
This extensive kit contains items such as:
- General Community Information
- Street Maps
- Transit Maps
- School Information
- Real Estate Brochures
- Local Newspapers.
- We will also gladly research any additional information required by the transferee
Pre-Move Orientation
Part of the decision process for the potential transferee will be based on a pre-move "Look-See" visit. This service consists of an area orientation tour. Depending on the make-up of the Transferee's family, the tour of the destination city includes:
- Familiarization with living conditions
- Residential Areas
- Schooling
- Obtaining Goods and Services
- Religious Needs
- Recreational and Leisure opportunities
The duration of the "Look-See" visit is dependent upon the specific request of the Transferee. Generally, a One Day program is recommended for the single person or couple without children. For a family including children, we highly recommend the Two Day Program as it extensively explores the issues of children and schooling.
Homefinding Programs
Once the transferee has accepted the international position, helping him/her find suitable housing is a crucial step in the overall success of the assignment. The Corporation may wish to take advantage of combining the Pre-Move Program and Homefinding program into one package, so we have developed a program to incorporate such request. We are able to provide assistance with both Rental Homefinding as well as Purchase Homefinding
The program will start with developing an itinerary based on a needs analysis, along with a Welcome/Orientation Packet. The Transferee would receive a general overview of the area and map orientation along with residential area familiarization. We can arrange for visits to school(public and private), view pre-screened/pre-selected properties(3 days fully accompanied).
We will facilitate the lease process(price, terms, deposits, landlord and tenant issues). We will assist in establishing bank accounts, arrange for utilities to be hooked up, and telephone/cable connections. The Transferee will be accompanied to appointments at recognized kennels where required. There will be an inventory inspection on furnished accommodations and a 30 and 60-day post move follow-up call to the transferee.
Rental Search
Working closely with the transferee, we help to identify any special needs. What preferred type of accommodation, what location, what budget are all issues of particular importance to a successful relocation.
Types of Rental Properties

- Long-Term Furnished Apartments
- Long-Term Unfurnished Apartments
Purchase Homefinding

Pre-inspections will take place to ensure the transferee's time is maximized.
When viewing the properties, the selected broker will make the appointments, and provide an overall orientation to each area to ensure the transferee is familiar with all the amenities. Special attention is given to future resale. The selected broker will work as a Purchaser's Agent (paid by the vendor) to ensure the transferee receives the best advice and assistance throughout offer negotiations. The broker is in constant contact with our department, keeping us aware of the progress.
